SUART 2026 at Palazzo Reale includes an international conference on the sustainability of art and the exhibition “Maria Cristina Carlini. Materie viventi”. The event is organized by Associazione Ethicando and Fondazione Maria Cristina Carlini ETS in collaboration with the Municipality of Milan, Palazzo Reale and several leading partner universities.

The exhibition presents two monumental sculptures installed in the Courtyard of Honour and the Garden of Palazzo Reale. The exhibition is promoted by the Municipality of Milan-Culture, produced by Palazzo Reale and Fondazione Maria Cristina Carlini ETS in collaboration with Associazione Ethicando, and curated by Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico.

The art collection of Horti at Almo Collegio Borromeo in Pavia is enriched by Origine (2019) by Maria Cristina Carlini. The monumental sculpture becomes part of the park’s permanent exhibition through the collaboration with Fondazione Maria Cristina Carlini ETS.
The sculptor Maria Cristina Carlini is participating in the Milano Design Week 2026 with three monumental sculptures, installed at Superstudio Maxi as part of a project curated by Giulio Cappellini, confirming the artist’s significant role in the contemporary art scene.

We are pleased to announce that art historian Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico is the new Artistic and Scientific Director of the Fondazione Maria Cristina Carlini.
Maria Cristina Carlini was officially appointed SustART 2026 artist at the Camera dei Deputati in Rome on 26 November 2025.
The Fondazione Maria Cristina Carlini is pleased to announce its participation in MuseoCity 2025, the initiative that annually celebrates Milan’s artistic and cultural heritage by opening the doors of museums, archives, and foundations to the public.
