Fondazione Maria Cristina Carlini at MuseoCity 2025
- 22 February 2025

The Fondazione Maria Cristina Carlini is pleased to announce its participation in MuseoCity 2025, the initiative that annually celebrates Milan’s artistic and cultural heritage by opening the doors of museums, archives, and foundations to the public.
On this occasion, sculptor Maria Cristina Carlini will personally welcome visitors to the Foundation’s headquarters to talk about her art, working techniques, the meaning behind her artistic research, and much more.
The exhibition offers a journey through several significant works with strong symbolic value, such as Note (1999), a sculpture suspended in space, made of sheet metal prisms that evoke an invisible musical staff, or Libri bruciati (2018), stoneware sculptures that reflect on the power of knowledge and the fragility of collective memory.
This is a unique opportunity to explore Maria Cristina Carlini’s world up close and discover the deep connection between material, nature, and memory. Visitors will also be able to delve deeper into the artist’s career and past exhibitions through videos, catalogues, and docufilms available at this brand-new contemporary art hub in Milan.
We look forward to welcoming you!
